RE: International Forestry Newsletter Available

I would like to announce the availability of the SYLVANET NEWSLETTER,
a publication of the International Programs of the College of Forest
Resources at North Carolina State University (NCSU) via the
internet. Effective immedietly anyone can subscribe to this electronic
version of our hard copy newsletter. The first issue available is from
Nov. 1993 and can be retrived from archived files (described below). The
second issue, April 1994 is being distributed to several lists for initial
review.

I hope this effort will improve Sylvanet's accessability and
ultimately the publicity about many of the internationally related
programs at the Forestry College and NCSU.

OUR AIM IS NOT TO FORM A DISCUSSION GROUP

However, articles (both general and research-related) are welcome,
please send these to me or the SYLVANET office (address below) directly.

The following file further describes SYLVANET and how to subscribe,
etc... You will receive this file again once you subscribe.

Sincerely,

The major problems in the world are a result of the differences between
the way nature works and the way man thinks.
