       Teaching Assistant - Position Available Fall 1994
  School of Forestry and Wood Products, Michigan Technological University
                     Houghton, Michigan

I am looking for a TA to assist with Forest Inventory, and Introduction to
Computers in Forestry courses.  The successful candidate will work towards
a M.S. or Ph.D. degree in an area of quantitative methods in forestry
including Forest Biometrics, Forest/Ecological Modeling, or Global Change
Modeling.  Knowledge of computers (especially IBM PCs) and software such as
Quattro Pro, and WordPerfect/Microsoft Word, a must.  Strong background in
Statistics or Forest Inventory/Biometrics/Mensuration desirable.
