It was hard to read anything in that message because it was so poorly
formatted.

I'll be the "heavy" this time. 

Folks, if you can't keep your text to 80 columns or less (and I speak
for everyone on this) it is very hard to read.

In my opinion, if the time isn't taken to format a posting such that
it is easily readable, it is not worth reading.

Furthermore, if the poster doesn't have the knowledge to format a
posting correctly, the poster should obtain that knowledge before
sending the post to others.
