The Haiti Productive land use Systems Project is looking for a Forest Ecologist s and an Anthropologist with experience in forestry or agriculture to assess th e impact of ten years of tree planting by sucessive agroforestry projects in Ha iti. The consultants will be expected to visit farmers in various parts of Hai ti who have received trees. Amoung questions to be addressed are extent of nat ural reseeding, how trees are managed and used, how they fit into ecology, how farmers perceptions have changed over time, what is value of secondary producti on. The consultants should speak French or Creole and have experience in the t ropics.
