I am looking for a graduate student who would like to pursue a Ph.D.
degree in the area of Wood Physics & Drying by doing research on the
MODELLING OF RADIO-FREQUENCY/VACUUM DRYING OF WOOD, under my supervision.

I am offering a full graduate research assistantship of $15,000/year.

The candidate I am looking for should have a M.Sc. degree in Wood Science,
Chemical Engineering or related field. He/she should have a very strong
background in heat and mass transfer, drying of porous media, and a
very good knowledge of numerical analysis.  

The project involves experimental work, model derivation and numerical
analysis.
