To anybody out there

I am a doctoral candidate with research interest in developing methods to
PREDICT patterns of change in landuse/landcover based on human demographic
patterns, and socioeconomics in sub-Saharan Africa.
Is anybody out there who knows similar works in the area. I will be glad to
receive references on related works in othe parts of the world.
