CFP: Soil and Sustained Forest Productivity



I am passing on this announcement from a colleague with the US Forest Service
regarding an upcoming symposium.

                           CALL FOR PAPERS
The Forest & Range Soils Division is requesting volunteered papers
and posters for a 1-day symposium on "Soil and Sustained Forest
Productivity" for the Nov. 13-18 1994 ASA-CSSA-SSSA annual meeting in
Seattle.  Title-Summary Forms found in the March issue of Agronomy
News should be received no later than May 9 by Dr. Dale W. Johnson,
Biological Sciences Center, Desert Res. Inst., P.O. Box 60220, Reno,
NV 89506.  Indicate clearly that they are for the "Symposium on Soil
and Sustained Productivity."
Submissions best illustrating linkages between soil properties,
processes, forest management and sustained forest productivity will
be selected by a symposium committee of peers. Those presenting
unifying concepts and long-term data bases will be favored, and a
peer-reviewed proceedings will be published.  For further details,
