To all members of the forest-owner network This note is to inform all members of a slight correction to a message announcing the second "Forestry and the environment: economic perspectives" conference to be held in Canada next October. In fact it is not a correction of the announcement but of a reference within it. The correct name of "The Commonwealth Abstracts Bureaux International" was originally the Commonwealth Agricultural Bureaux International; a couple of years ago it became officially just the acronym CABI and in fact now this stands for Centre for Agriculture and Biosciences International. CABI still produces all of the agricultural, forestry and related abstract journals. Here in this Institute (the Oxford Forestry Institute, in the UK) we have a formal agreement with CABI in which we jointly acquire, access, abstract and deliver hard copies of documents for all the world's published and much unpublished "grey" literature related to forestry, forest products and agroforestry (the latter is done jointly with ICRAF). Best wishes for the conference to Bill White Dr J Burley Director, Oxford Forestry Institute South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3RB, UK Email: JBURLEY@VAX.OXFORD.AC.UK
