I am interested in knowing more about the kind of cable logging/transport
systems in Europe that use intermediate supports.  My application is in an
agroforestry situation on sloping lands in the tropics, so the loads would 
not be heavy (maximum of what one person could carry to the cable), We could 
use gravity to move the material (grass, fire wood, etc.) down slope.   

Is there anyone out there with experience designing such light "logging" 
systems that make use of intermediate supports?  I would appreciate making
contact with someone.
