I am in process of putting together the April 94 issue of the IUFRO S S4.02 Forest Resource Inventory and Monitoring Newsletter/S 4.12 Remote Sensing Technology Newsletter. I would welcome any material you wish to contribute if I receive it electronically by 1 March. Information on new publications, meetings, new technologies or other news items in the resource inventory/monitoring/remote sensing field. Information on new technology, results of related research should be kept to about 2 paragraphs and include where one may get additional information. The newsletter is sent out in hard copy only in April and October. I would like to make it available electronically through internet, but certainly don't want to send it out to the forestry net to a large number of people that may not wish to see it and also I have not been successful in building and maintaining an international email mailing list. Any suggestions? Again, if you wish to provide any input to the April issue send me your input by 1 March.
