Colleagues,

can anyone answer the following questions:

1) is it possible to contribute to newsgroups by e-mail (our software
allows only to read the messages but not to send them)?

2) if it is possible, where can I find the proper INTERNET e-mail addresses
of newsgroups. Is there any directory (like gopher etc.)? I am interested in
addresses of newsgroups relating to forestry and ecology (like sci.bio.ecology,
bionet.plants etc.).

3) how is it possible to subscribe to these newsgroups by e-mail?
