ALL FOREST RESEARCHERS

Dear Researchers
We are carrying out research on "in-situ conservation
of wild relatives and related taxa of crop plants ". In this connection
we have carried out an extensive field research in the Western Ghats
(one of the hot spots of BIODIVERSITY) region of Karnataka state,INDIA.
We would appreciate recieving the information from fellow researchers
working on similar aspects :
Further we would like to know
1> what are the current concepts behind "in-situ conservation" ?.
2>what are the various aspects looked into regarding "in situ conservation"
 especially with respect to plants?
3> References, Publications and Research progress achieved in this area of research?
4>Universities, Research Institutions, Individuals currently engaged in
this kind of activities (with their Email/postal address)es).

Active Discussion in this regard is Highly appreciated.

With Warm Regards
