Dear Michael E. Dyer

I have dealt with comparing distributions for unthinned Sitka spruce
in my D.Sc. dissertation (to be published in 1994, hopefully). I have
found that the development of the diameter distribution during self
thinning depends on the yield level, as measured by total volume
production at a specified height. I also have other results
and opinions on methods of analyses that may interest you. We could
probably both benefit from a cooperation in this field.
