Position Announcement Assistant/Associate Professor of Tree Physiology The School of Forestry, Auburn University, is soliciting applications for a tenure-track, 12-month faculty position. The candidate will conduct tree physiology research that complements one or more of the School's strengths in nurseries, regeneration, and ecology. Teaching will include an undergraduate course in tree physiology and at least one graduate course in the candidate's specialization. Applicants must have completed the requirements for a Ph.D. majoring in tree physiology, forest ecophysiology or closely related field. Expertise in one or more of the following is preferable: root systems or below-ground ecology, abiotic or biotic stresses, silviculture, or plant competition. Research experience beyond the Ph.D., and professional or educational experience in forestry are desirable.
