                        CALL FOR PAPERS


Arbora Publishers, Zvolen, Slovakia, is starting the publication of a new
international journal of forest genetics called

                        FOREST GENETICS

aimed at the recent advances in forest genetics in a broad sense
including the molecular genetics and cytogenetics, population, evolution
and ecological genetics as well as gene conservation and breeding of
forest tree species. The international Editorial Board cover the
prominent specialists in forest genetics from all parts of the world.

Original papers (up to 20 double spaced pages), short notes (up to 6
pages) announcements of conferences and meetings and book reviews are
welcomed.

The first volume (1994) will contain four issues (A4 size and 64 pages
each). The publication of the first issue is planned already for March
1994, the second one for June 1994. The subscription rate for the first
volume (1994) will be 140 DM or 90 USD plus mailing expenses. Further
