The following research report was published on 3 August by the Australian
Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ABARE).
Extract: An economic model of plantation forests is used in this report as a
framework for assessing the domestic and international competitiveness of
Australian plantation development. Particular emphasis is given to two forest
growing regions in Australia - Bathurst, New South Wales, and northern
Tasmania.
